After having installed Sri Guru Granth Sahib in Sri Harimandir Sahib. Guru Arjan then teaches true worship, supreme veneration, real devotion to this Holiest of the Holy treasure of Immortal Nam, Amrit Bani of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, at whose lotus feet precious commodities like salvation, mukti and realisation roll in humble submission. He spent the whole balance of his short span of life at the lotus feet of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. He sat at the lotus feet of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in Sri Harimandir Sahib and sang the glory of the Lord in the melodious tunes of Amrit Bani and at night, when Sri Guru Granth Sahib was closed and carried to a separate apartment for rest on a dignified cot, he rested on its side on the floor. He seldom visited his house.
Sri Guru Arjan Sahib is the Lord of Blessings. He is the Manifest Lord, Lord Incarnate. He has blessed us with rare gift of beholding Guru Nanak, face to face, in the Eternal Guru, Sri Guru Granth Sahib; of serving the Guru in person, of basking in the perpetual sunshine of Guruís holy presence and of drinking the immortal Nectar of His Amrit Bani to our heartís content.
True devotion to the Guru Parmesher is only possible if the best of every thing is offered at the holy feet of the Satguru at home. Sojourn, the holy room, designed and earmarked, for Sri Guru Granth Sahib, in the house has, therefore, to be the best possible in every respect. The house where in Sri Guru Granth Sahib is so accommodated, worshipped and adored, symbolizes the sanctity and glory of God.
God is Love and Love is God, When God incarnates in the Form of Jagat Guru, He actually incarnates as a Mass of Love. Satguru is Love and Love is Satguru.
Love is the greatest Magic, Love is the greatest Miracle, Love is the most potent and powerful Force. God who is infinite Love incarnates out of infinite compassion and Love for his creation and it is this very Love of God which redeems masses enmasse.
Having taught the way of supreme devotion to the Holiest of the Holy Scripture, to the children of Nanak, having thus opened flood gates of the Grace of God, and having afforded a perpetual vision of His Glory through Sri Guru Granth Sahib, this Great Prophet of suffering mankind then took upon Himself the other most crucial aspect of human existence, i.e. the suffering and agony of the creation. He now proceeds to teach, the last but not the least, the finest instinct, the lesson supreme in this Love-Divine and that is the Love of death. He wears the crown of martyrdom and imparts the highest lesson of Love in a most examplary manner.
